This year marks my 31st year in education, a journey that began in 1996 as a social studies teacher with the Middle School Alternative Program. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving as an educator and administrator at several schools throughout Greenville County. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating opportunities for students to grow, succeed, and recognize their potential.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History Education from South Carolina State University and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Furman University. My passion for education, particularly working with students who may need additional guidance, structure, and encouragement, continues to drive the work I do each day.
Beyond education, I am a husband, father, and author. My wife and I are the proud parents of two sons, and family remains one of the most important parts of my life. Over the years, I have enjoyed supporting our sons in their academic, athletic, and professional pursuits.
After more than three decades in education, I remain just as passionate about making a difference as I was when I first entered the classroom. I believe education is about much more than academics—it is about relationships, opportunities, accountability, and helping young people become the best versions of themselves.
