Getting Materials
Students will get all materials before the start of class. Students will use our handsignals to get sharpen pencils.
Entering the Classroom
Students will enter the classroom quietly one at a time while being handed a clean pencil if they need one. They will enter their assigned seat quietly and quickly.
Getting Materials
Students will have all materials for the day either on their desk at the start of class or passed out while they are working on their warmups. Sharpened pencils will be provided for students who need and will be dropped in a basket on their way out and cleaned at the end of class by the teacher.
Opener/Warm-Up
Students will begin to work on their daily warm-up as they sit at their seats for the first 5 minutes of class. They will also have the opportunity to pick up any missed work that will be in a folder in the back.
Using the Bathroom
They may not go to the restroom during the first or last 10 minutes of class. Only emergencies will be allowed and I will have a timer to keep track of how long they are gone. If longer than 5 minutes they will get a referral for skipping class.
Passing Out Materials
The teacher will pass out any materials needed for class that day at the beginning of class to eliminate any unnecessary movement.
Requesting Materials
If students will need any materials, they will raise their hand to ask for materials.
Seating
Students will ask permission before moving around the classroom. Students will have assigned seats.
Turning in Work
Any paperwork will be turned in to the appropriate classroom box. All technology based assignments will be turned in online in google classroom by clicking “turn in”.
Summarizing Activity
Students will answer an exit ticket/discussion question before exiting the classroom.
Leaving the Classroom
Students will be dismissed by rows when leaving the classroom. All materials must be turned into their appropriate box to be disinfected. Students will place their “clean me” sign on their desk prior to leaving the room.
Classroom Between Activities
Students will go directly to their next class door, line up outside the classroom and maintain 6 feet between the person in front and behind them while waiting to go into their next class.
Transitioning to and from Lunch
Teachers will bring their classes to pick up food at their designated time frame.
Transitioning to and from Related Arts
Students will walk on the right side of the hallway with the teacher, while making the “loop” to and from related Arts classes. Related Arts teachers will be walking students back to class.
**These transitions will be dependent on Social Distancing guidelines released by the state and district
