eLearning Guidelines:

Beginning in 2020, GCS has the option of declaring eLearning days when weather or road conditions threaten safety. This allows instruction to continue remotely, even though students and teachers are not physically present in our schools. Students will have 5 days to complete eLearning work before being marked absent for the day.

Homework and Makeup Work Policies:

Students will not have graded homework in third grade. However, extra practice is always available upon request. 

In the event a student misses assignments at school, he/she will have ample opportunity to make up the work in class during independent work times. If the work is not completed within 3 days of return, an action plan will be created between the parent, teacher, and student to ensure student success.
