Registration Timeline:
Fall :
Sixth grade students may apply to attend one of Greenville County's magnet programs, Beck, League, Hughes, or Greenville Middle Academy.

February:
Parents should ensure their address is up to date in Backpack so that their student is registered for the appropriate middle school.
Elective worksheets are sent home and parents help students select elective courses.
Elective worksheets are returned to school and counselors help students register for classes.
Teachers enter student recommendations for their academic classes.
Students zoned for Mauldin Middle School or Hillcrest Middle School visit and learn more about their middle schools on a field trip with counselors.
March:
Parents receive Student Request Letters to review what classes students are signed up for.
Summer:
Check your middle school's website to find the date for 6th grade orientation/"boot camp"! This is another opportunity for students to learn about and become more comfortable and familar with their middle school before the school year starts!
