Fifth Grade Parents,
Registration for middle school for fifth grade students will take place in February/March of 2026. School counselors will assist students in signing up for their sixth grade classes. Important information will begin coming home in early February 2026. Please make sure you check Friday folders frequently and have a Parent Backpack account set up to receive notifications and updates!
Important Dates:
February 2nd 12:00-1:00pm--Parent Workshop on Middle School registration process (see flyer below to register and for details)
Week of February 2-6--students will bring home elective (related arts) worksheets to complete at home. Parents sign and return worksheet to Bethel.
February 11--elective worksheets due back to Bethel with a parent signature
February 9-13--teachers put in recommendations for Math and English courses
February 17-20--students work with counselors to put in elective choices
March 11--student request letters will be send home to parents for a signature. They are due back to Bethel March 23rd.

Bryson Middle --February 12th 6:00 pm

Hughes Academy --February 5th at 5:30pm
Mauldin Middle--February 10th 6:00 pm (rescheduled date)
Ralph Chandler--February 10th at 5:30 pm
Fisher Middle--April 22nd 5:00-7:00 pm Fisher Middle Block Party (see flyer below)
For students interested in taking Band at Mauldin Middle, you must attend ONE instrument selection night:
Thursday, Feb 26th at 5:30
Tuesday, March 3rd at 5:30
Tuesday, March 10th at 5:30
Saturday, March 28th between 10:00 am-2:00 pm
For students interested in taking STRINGS at Hillcrest Middle, you can attend Strings Instrument Night on February 12th and drop in between 5:00-6:30 to learn more!
