All About Mrs. Gentry:
My name is Dana Gentry, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year at Bell's Crossing. This is my fifthteenth year at Bell's Crossing, and seventeenth year teaching in the Greenville County School District. I taught preschool special education, part-time, for two years at Dunbar Child Development Center. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology, from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Master of Arts in Teaching, plus an additional thirty hours, from Converse College. I am certified to teach Special Education, grades PK-12, as well as Literacy, grades K-12.
I am originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, however we have called South Carolina home, for thirty years now. My husband and I have been married now for thirty years. I was a stay-at-home mom when my boys were younger.
We have three boys; Jacob is a graduate of USC (Go Gamecocks!!), and works and lives in Columbia, SC, and twins, Jordan and Jared are sophomores in college, at Midlands Tech in Columbia, SC. We have an Australian Shepherd named Cooper, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I grew up in Spartanburg, SC and received my Bachelor's from The University of South Carolina, Columbia. I married my best friend and we have two beautiful girls. After being a stay-at-home mom, I started subbing at Bell's, and from there, I was hired to be a Special Education Aide. In my free time. you can find me on the soccer fields with my family.
