This is my fourteenth year at Bell's Crossing, and sixteenth year teaching in the Greenville County School District. I taught preschool special education, part-time, for two years at Dunbar Child Development Center. I received my Bachelor of Science degree, from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Master of Arts in Teaching, plus an additional thirty hours, from Converse College. I am certified to teach Special Education, grades PK-12, as well as Literacy, grades K-12.
I am originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, however I have lived in Upstate South Carolina for twenty nine years. My husband and I have been married now for twenty-nine years. Before I was a teacher, I worked for Synnex in Greenville, SC. After I had my children, I became a stay-at-home mom, during their formative years.
We have three boys; Jacob is grown, and works and lives in Columbia, SC, and twins, Jordan and Jared. Jordan is a freshman at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC, and Jared is a freshman at The University of South Carolina, Columbia. We have an Australian Shepherd named Cooper, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
