I am a 1981 Woodmont graduate, born and raised right here in Piedmont, SC. While in high school, I enjoyed cheerleading, band, chorus, strings, and the flag line. I graduated from USC in 1984, with a BS degree in Chemistry. While attending USC, I was thrilled to perform in front of over 10,000 people with the USC Band Flag Line. I obtained my teaching certification from TX in Generic Special Education. I lived in TX, outside Houston, for 13 years. I moved back to SC in 2002, and have lived here, except for 4 years that I lived in MI. I received my Master's degree in Education, Teaching and Learning from Southeastern University, FL, online in 2010. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Ministry from Destiny College International. I have taught from pre-school all the way through college. I was an Adjunct Instructor at Montcalm Community College, Sidney, MI, where I taught Early Childhood Education as well as Chemistry. I completed my Praxis in General Science in June 2022.
My husband, Mark, and I have 4 children together that range in ages from 34-30 plus a son, Kevin, that died in Dec 2021 .
