I am excited about the opportunity to teach your children here at Bell’s Crossing.  I want to introduce myself and share my background with all of you.

I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia. I finished my Master of Literacy Education degree at Clemson.  I started teaching in 1995.  I have taught K4, kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.  I was also a substitute teacher with Greenville county schools for 4 years.

I lived in Texas for 17 years, Georgia for 11 years, and have resided in the Greenville area for more than 20 years. I have 3 boys.  Jake is 29 and proudly served in the Navy and graduated college. Grayson is 21 and is proudly serving in the Navy in Japan.  Kaden is 19 and is also serving in the Navy here in the states. My partner, Russell, also has 2 grown sons who I consider “my bonus sons” who have given me 2 granddaughters that I love dearly. We love going on hikes in the mountains and trips to the beach.  In my spare time I like to read and cook. I’m a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and a diehard fan of Clemson football!  I have accepted that Russell pulls for the “other team”. Ha. I love going to the games and look forward to tailgating every fall.

I believe that every child can learn. My classroom is a place where love and structure are found.  My door is open to parents and I am always willing to listen to new ideas and suggestions. I am looking forward to a fantastic year with you and your child!
