WELCOME

I am so excited to be your child’s GT teacher this year!  My goal this year is to make learning come alive for your child in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Every child has unique and unlimited potential!  I love tapping into their uniqueness and allowing them to shine as learners and leaders in our class. I can't wait to partner with you this year to unleash the potential in each and every student!

ABOUT ME:

I have taught at Welcome Elementary, Paris Elementary, virtual 1st grade through Greenville County, and Woodland Elementary School. I truly love my job and can't imagine doing anything else! I have my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University. I then went back to school while teaching and received my Masters in Literacy and ESOL from Clemson University... GO TIGERS! I just finished my Masters +30 and that is where I fell in love with Gifted and Talented Education. I love to challenge myself to try new things and be a lifelong learner in my profession.  

In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband Jason, our energetic three year old Zoey Claire, & our newest addition to the family Hadley Ryan.
