About the Instructor:

My name is Mike Wilson. This will be my third year at Donaldson Career Center. I am in my 37th year in education with all of my experience teaching in high school career centers, comprehensive high schools in the upstate, and technical colleges. I am a graduate of Tri-County Technical College in Industrial Electronics Technology, and also Clemson University in Technology and Human Resource Development. My areas of teaching experience are in the areas of Electricity, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics,  Building Construction (Electricity, Plumbing), PLTW-Principles of Engineering, and Cisco IT Essentials. I was previously a National Board certified teacher from 2010-2020. Also, I served my alma mater, TCTC, as an adjunct instructor for Mechatronics and Industrial Electronics.

I am originally from Belton, SC and currently reside in Pendleton, SC. In my free time, I serve as a high school wrestling official, and director of the upstate district of  wrestling officials. I also enjoy, fishing, playing golf, college football, GO TIGERS, and the outdoors.

I look forward to sharing my experience with the young people of Greenville County, and developing future maintenance technicians for our area industries and employers.
