While in the DCC Culinary Arts program, students will have the opportunity to compete in local, state, and potentially national culinary competitions. Students that earn the opportunity to compete will have the chance to win scholarships based on their success. Two competitions that DCC competes in every year is the Greenville County School District Healthy Lunch Competition and the SC ProStart Invitational.
This competition is based on the National School Lunch program and will showcase the work of Greenville County's Culinary Arts programs. Students submit recipes that comply with the NLSP regulation to a blind panel of judges.
