Donaldson Career Center's Culinary Arts program teaches, trains, and prepares students for a career in the Hospitality Industry. Students who have a desire to learn about food and cooking will get an intensive hands-on experience and will be exposed to industry professionals. Students will also have an opportunity to meet representatives from some of the most prestigious culinary schools in the country. Those who complete this two year program will have the basic skills, knowledge, techniques, and certifications to begin a successful career in food service.

DCC culinary students teamed up with Golden Strip, Bonds, and Enoree Career Center students to run a booth in the 2018 Artisphere Culinary Arts Cafe to raise funds for the programs. They picked up the Blue Ribbon for "Best In Show" for the second consecutive year. Shout to Golden Strip and their delicious Elote that brought home award!
Josh completed the culinary program at DCC in May 2018. While in the program, Josh represented DCC at the Healthy Lunchtime Throwdown during the 2017 Euphoria in downtown Greenville, SC . While at Euphoria, Josh got to cook alongside three Michilin Starred chef, Curtis Duffy. Josh is now entering his senior year at Southside High School.

Ingrid completed the culinary program at DCC in May 2018. While in the program, Ingrid represented DCC at the Healthy School Lunch Competition hosted by Donaldson Career Center. Ingrid, along with her teammates, Miracle Johnson and Lai Robinson, prepared a beautiful salmon dish. Ingrid graduated from Greenville High School in May where she was also in charge of the yearbook committee. She currently works for Herbalife Nutrition as well as the Cheesecake Factory.
