Machine Tool Technology Instructor
My name is Brian Lane. I graduated from Woodruff High School in 1993. While there I completed a two year course in Machine Tool Technology at R.D. Anderson Applied Technology Center. I was awarded student of the year in Machine Tool after winning the region competition and competed in the state competition my senior year. After high school I worked in the machine tool industry for 27 years mostly in a tool & die shop. For the last six years of my career I programmed for various computerized numerical controlled (CNC) machines.
My hobbies are fishing and camping with my wife of 28 years.
I enjoy the process of machining and I'm excited to share and teach my experience with students that I can can relate to because I too was a Machine Tool Technology student!!
