My name is Donna Bader. I pronounce my last name "Botter" like an otter. I am from Donalds, SC in Abbeville County. I currently live in Greenville with my two sons Ashton & Jax. I enjoy being a mom. There's nothing like it!
I enjoy all kinds of animals. Our pets currently include four cats and an aquatic addiction of many fish tanks. My hopes and dreams are to one day live on a 20+ acre farm and rehabilitate wildlife animals, raise chickens, ride horses, and tend to my garden. I currently enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, scuba diving, relaxing at the beach and lake, and spending time with family and friends.
I graduated from Erskine with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and obtained my master's degree in elementary education through Southern Wesleyan University. I began my teaching career in 2001 at Hollis Academy teaching the 4th grade. In 2004, I began teaching at Ware Shoals Elementary. I taught 4th grade for two years and 6th grade for seven years. In 2013, I was an EMD Aide at Robert E Cashion Elementary School. In 2014, I began my career at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary School teaching the 4th grade. In 2019, I returned to Cashion to be a Comet again, teaching STEAM. In 2024, I returned the classroom and became a 5th grade teacher.
