About the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Danielle Phillips.  This will be my twenty- second year as a teacher at Sara Collins Elementary School. However, I have been teaching for over thirty years. I am excited to continue teaching Third Grade, with a wonderful team of teachers at Sara Collins Elementary.

Although I did grow up in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, New York area, I have lived in the South for well over twenty -eight years, and call South Carolina my home.  I truly love the Greenville area, and refuse to ever move back to the "cold weather".

My husband, Erik and I have two children, and a dog. Our daughter, Kaitlin, is in her last year of graduate school at Charleston Southern University,  where she is studying to be an Athletic Trainer.  Our son, Collin, is entering his junior year in college, where he is studying Finance/Business.  Our son is also part of the university football team, which is where we spend lots of our free time.     Our  8 year old dog, T.J., is a Black Mouth Cur.  He is 85 lbs., but thinks he should be a lap dog.  

Our other favorite family pastimes are watching the Clemson Tigers play football, going to the beach or lake, or just spending time together.
