I was born and raised in Medina, OH. I have now been in SC since 1990. I first attended Spartanburg Community College, graduating with and Associate's Degree. I then attended USC-Spartanburg (Upstate) where I earned a Bachelors of Science Degre in Secondary Education, concentrating in Social Studies. Finally, I attended Furman University and earned a Master's Degree in School Leadership and Supervision. 2025 will mark my 30th year in education, serving as a social studies teacher, assistant principal, coach and principal in Spartanburg, Greenwood, and Greenville counties.
I have two children. My 24 year old daughter is a graduate of the University of SC and is now a Registered Nurse. My son is a rising junior at Greenville high school. In my spare time I like to travel with my son as he competes in AAU basketball. I also enjoy college football (Go Buckeyes). I am very much looking forward to my 2nd year at Woodmont High school.
