This course provides students with the opportunity to participate in the preparation and performance of a competition-level one-act play. Students engage in advanced acting, directing, design, and ensemble-building techniques aligned with the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards for Theatre. Emphasis is placed on rehearsal discipline, critical thinking, and artistic collaboration. Students will compete in school, regional, and state theatre festivals while developing a strong sense of professional practice and artistic growth.Â
