We have a punch card behavior system this year. This means they are trying to earn dojo points throughout the week. The number of dojo points is how many punches they get on their card. When they fill thier card, they can choose a coupon. The coupons are fun things to do in class like sit by a friend, bring a snack, class store, or sitting on the beanbag for a day.
The students are also working on filling their star jar with good behavior from the whole class. Once they fill their jar, they get a chance to vote on which class party they want!
We have homework every week. There is daily math homework and reading homework that is due on Friday. They get dojo points for doing their homework.
