Communication:
If I need to communicate with you throughout the school year I may use a text app called Talking Points. I use this app to translate messages into your home language. I will usually introduce myself using my name, as multiple teachers at the school may also use this appt o communicate with you. Instructions on how to sign up for this app are included in the message.
If I need to communicate about something very important, or am unable to contact you via Talking Points, I will call. I call using the HIT Services language translation company. A professional translator will be on the line with us.
If you need to contact me, there are several ways. Responding to my Talking Points message will be private just to me, others included in class anouncements will not see the message. You can also call and leave a message on my voicemail. If you need to speak in Spanish, that is fine, please do so. The front office at Carolina has Spanish-speaking secretaries. You are also welcome to email me, in any langauge. I will typically respond within 24 hours.
