I have taught seventh grade English language arts, creative writing, and reading at BRMS. In addition to that, I have been the Instructional Coach here for several years. Prior to coming to BRMS, I taught at Gateway Elementary, Northwest Middle, and Berea Middle.

My undergrad degree in secondary English language arts is from Clemson University, and my elementary degree is from Furman University. I have a master's degree from Southern Wesleyan University in education and a master's degree from Clemson University in literacy.

My husband, Scott, and I have been married since 1988, and we have two daughters, two sons in law, and six adorable grandchildren! We live on a little farm in Travelers Rest. I have a big, beautiful off the track thoroughbred, a giant, goofy Goldendoodle, and three adorable cats. I call them all my "furbabies!"

In my spare time you will find me either hanging out with my grandchildren, doing something outside with my animals, cheering on the Tigers at a Clemson game, or camping at the beach or mountains.
