If you need to get in touch with me during the school day, I am available via email any time during the day. However, I can only check email before school, during Related Arts, and after school. It may be after the school day before I can respond to your question. If transportation changes during the school day, please call the front office at 355-3800 to let the staff know of the change. They will alert me at the end of the school day about the change.
You can also reach me after school via email or phone (864) 355-3858 from 2:30 until 3:00. You will get an immediate response during this time.
The 2026-2027 school year is my 38th year with the school district and I have been teaching first grade since 2002 when Bell's Crossing opened. Prior to that I was a Reading Specialist at Buena Vista Elementary. I enjoy teaching first grade because the growth of the students is phenomenal!
My husband, Howard, and I have been married 36 years and we have a 29-year old son, James, who graduated from Clemson in May 2019. He got married in June 2019. James and Audrey have two sons - Felix is 4 years old and Solomon is 20 months old. Baby girl will be here in September.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Presbyterian College in May 1989 and my Masters of Education in Reading from Clemson University in August 1993.
