Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. I truly enjoy working with students and watching them grow into confident, lifelong learners. My teaching journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University. I started my career in a 3rd grade classroom and have since taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. As my career progressed, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling, also from Clemson.
For the past 24 years, I have had the privilege of serving Greenville County Schools as an Instructional Coach. This year, I am excited to begin a new chapter as the Interventionist at Fountain Inn Elementary! I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families and am eager for a wonderful and successful school year ahead.
Outside of education, family is my greatest joy. My husband, Tony, and I have been happily married for 36 years. We’re proud parents of three wonderful sons. Austin is a full-time firefighter/EMT with a heart for helping others. Collin works in bioengineering research and enjoys spending his free time hunting. Our youngest, Brayden, is a recent Construction Science and Management graduate from Clemson and is working his dream job in the field!
As a family, we love spending time together—whether it's lake weekends, beach trips each summer, or cheering on the Tigers during football season. Go Tigers!
