About Me

Greetings! My name is Emma Cooper and I am excited for year two at Hughes Academy. I am from Easley, SC, and graduated from Furman University with a degree in English, as well as my Masters of Arts in Teaching. I student taught in several schools across Greenville County and also worked as a reading teacher for the Institute of Reading Development, working with 4k through high school students. Outside of school, I enjoy painting, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, reading. My (current) favorite book is The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together!
