I am Coach Shepherd. This will be my fourth year teaching at Northwest Middle School.  This year, I'm looking forward to teaching Gateway to Technology. 

Subjects will be automation and robotics, medical detectives, app creators., and flight and space .

I have a wonderful wife who is also a teacher at Palmetto High School, which happens to be my alma mater class of  1999. I have two wonderful girls, Kinsley, 16 who is a junior  this year, and Madison, who will be staring middle school this year. I'm also a varsity assistant football coach (running backs) at Wade Hampton High School. Go Generals!! I'm also a huge Georgia football fan! Gooooo Dawgs!! 

I look forward to getting to know all the Northwest  students this year!
