Hello! My name is Coach Farrington and I am excited to be a Physical Education/Health Teacher here at Greer Middle School again this year!! I received my Physical Education degree in 1989 from USC Upstate (it was USC-Spartanburg at that time) and received my Masters of Education in Health/Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology in 1990 from University of Louisiana-Monroe (it was Northeast Louisiana University way back then!)). I have been fortunate to teach in several states and at all levels from K-University. I retired from coaching but I have been a coach for 30 years in different sports-Volleyball, Basketball and Softball!
I am blessed with a beautiful family! I have a wonderful husband, Coach Jeff Farrington (retired as Head football at North Greenville University), two beautiful daughters-Maddison and Sydney, a son-in-love Eythan who is married to Sydney and my handsome son, Bobby, who serves our country as a Marine in Hawaii with his sweet wife, Savannah and our first new grandchild on the way in December!! Our fur babies are Lucky pup and a cat named Grayson. We love to travel, hike, kayak and paddleboard, play pickleball, sit on the porch together, go to games and treasure our friends, players and family!
I am looking forward to working with all of you and exploring all the fun and interesting activities through Health and Physical Education this year. My hope is that you will learn to appreciate and discover many things you didn't even know you could do!!! Let's Keep it Moving and Go Be Great!!
