About the Teacher Bio

My name is Angel McGowan and I'm excited for another year of teaching at Mauldin High School! Born and raised in Greenville, it's a privilege to serve the district and community that helped shape who I am. I earned my degree in Mathematics before completing a master's degree in Sports Management, and I had the opportunity to play college basketball during my undergraduate years.

This is my eighth year in education and my sixth year as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Mauldin High. I enjoy helping students grow both in the classroom and through athletics.
