Coach Kara Durden

Hello, students and families!  My name is Kara Durden and I am really honored to be your Physical Education/Health teacher this year.  This is my 15th year in education and my 7th  year as a PE teacher.  I was a "domestic engineer"😃for 10 years, raising my 2 sons.

I earned my  degree in Elementary Education and later became certified in Physical Education and Health.  During my teaching career, I have taught in Florida and North Carolina in public, private, and charter school settings.

I am a native to Florida and lived there most of my life.  My husband and I moved to Greenville last October and absolutely love it here in Greenville.    

I am so grateful to now be part of the Northwood family and am looking forward to a great school year!
