About Me

Hello, my name is Mr. Keith Bishop; I am member of the Social Studies department here at Southside. I will be teaching US History and the Constitution CP and US History and the Constitution Honors, Gov/Econ Honors and Gov/Econ CP this year. I am also the head softball coach and assistant volleyball coach here at Southside.  This is my tenth year teaching and my tenth year here at Southside. I am a graduate of USC Upstate with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with my focus in Social Studies. I love History and love working with children. I want to see my students not only succeed in the classroom, but I also want to see my students succeed in life. I have been married for 20 years and I have three children; 2 girls and one boy who are 20, 18, and 13. Outside of school I like to spend time with my family, watch/go to sporting events, and I also enjoy spending time at the mountains and the beach. It is my goal to make sure that every students that comes through my classroom door knows that I am here to help them be as successful in school and in life as they possibly can be.
