About Your Teacher

I was born and raised in northern Greenville County. After graduating from Blue Ridge High School, I attended North Greenville College (now North Greenville University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 2003. In 2007 I completed my Masters in Elementary Education from Southern Wesleyan University and received my National Board certification in 2010. I began teaching at Heritage Elementary in August of 2004 and I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. This is my 10th year teaching RTI.

I have been married to my husband, Phillip, since June 2009, and we live in Fletcher, NC. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Neeli (14)and Josie (1) They are such a blessing to us, and we love spending time together as a family.
