About the Teacher

After being gone for nine years, I am excited to be back home in the Upstate. This is my 24th year teaching.  I spent 13 of those years in Greenville County, five teaching online, and five in Berkeley County. My daughters are 17 and 15, and my son is six years old.  He has Down Syndrome, and he has taught our family so much about slowing down, enjoying life and each other, and having respect for people with all different types of abilities and gifts. We have thinned our pet family down significantly after moving, so we miss our goats,  pig, turkeys, etc, but we love our dog, cat,  two bunnies, and chickens.  I love cooking (and eating delicious food), being outdoors as much as possible, and reading.  I especially love all things theatre--whether watching a show or directing one. I love being a part of the Blue Ridge community!
