Rarely a quiet place, but one that welcomes all students at all times of the school day!

Our greatest delight is to connect a student with a book that is just right for them!

There are so many activities that take place in our Media Center and all of them are student centered.

Media Center Hours:

8:15a.m.-3:30p.m daily

Students can make arrangements 24 hours in advance with the library staff if they need to use the library after 3:30 p.m.

All students must have a pass when using the library.

Students may check out two books for two weeks and books may be renewed.

Please demonstrate appropriate behavior and courtesy in the library.

Students may not check out materials and/or books for another student.

Students may print in the Media Center for a fee.

Students may request specific titles by writing them on the clipboard at the circulation desk.

---WHY READ A MUSTANG BOOK???---

Mustang Book Award Reading Incentive

The purpose of the Mustang Book Award program is to inspire a love for reading and encourage students to read quality Young Adult literature.

There is a reading celebration at the end of each quarter for students who are participating in the Mustang Book Reading Incentive!

To be invited to the Mustang Book Reading Celebrations, students should read a minimum of one book by the end of first quarter. To attend the 2nd quarter Mustang Book Reading Celebration, they must read 3 Mustang Books in all by the end of the 2nd quarter. These 3 Mustang Books may be read at any time during the semester as long as one is completed by the end of first quarter.

To be invited to the 3rd quarter Mustang Book Reading Celebration students will need to have read at least 4 Mustang Books and by the end of the 4th quarter, students will need to have read 6 Mustang Books.

This is equivalent to 3 books per semester.

In May, students will vote for their favorite Mustang Book to find out the winner and those who have read higher numbers of books will be awarded extra prizes!
