Meet Chief Key

Welcome! I’m excited to serve as a Firefighting instructor at Enoree Career Center. As a 30-year veteran of the fire service, I bring experience in municipal, rural, and industrial firefighting. Training has always been a passion of mine, and I have served as a training officer and chief of training for more than 20 years.

I look forward to sharing my experience while helping prepare the next generation of firefighters. My goal is to create a supportive, hands-on learning environment where students can develop technical skills, strengthen their confidence, and learn the professionalism, teamwork, and discipline needed for a successful career in the fire service.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children and experiencing new adventures together.
