About Me

My husband and I are both graduates of Blue Ridge High School (your middle school was our high school).   After Blue Ridge, I attended North Greenville University, Furman University, then Converse College where I finished up with a  master's degree in English Education.  My favorite teachers, however, are my students.  I learn so much from you as we read and write together throughout the year.

Our family consists of our oldest daughter Katelyn, her husband Chris, and Claire, our youngest daughter.  The newest addition to our family is our grandson Jack.     We all love traveling to new places, hiking in the beautiful outdoors, and reading great books.
