ABOUT THE TEACHERS

My name is Mrs. Beth Mayfield and I am so excited to be your child's 4K teacher this year. I graduated from Southern Wesleyan with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have been at Ellen Woodside for 20 years teaching kindergarten. This will be my 7th year teaching 4K. 

I live in Pelzer with my husband, Doug. We have 2 grown sons. The cutest grandson and granddaughter ever!

I know that all students can learn and my job is to help them learn the best way they know how. I strive for a safe and stimulating classroom environment, where everyone has a voice. I use many different methodologies for all my students to learn in their particular learning style. In our class we have students with a wide range of abilities. I am responsible for teaching all subjects to my students. Our students go to related arts such as Art, Music, PE, and Guidance. All of the state and district standards are taught around monthly themes and projects.

Hello! My name is Renee Bryant. My husband Josh and I have 2 Beautiful girls, Keelie (13) and Avarie (7). After spending the last 11 years home with my girls I am excited to be back in the classroom working with your children, helping them succeed in learning. We live in Simpsonville/Fountain Inn area.  My other passion and love is volleyball. This is my 5th year here with the Ellen Woodside family. I am so excited to be here and have a blast this year!
