As a teen, I had the wonderful opportunity to have various foreign exchange students stay with my family. These students were from Japan, Italy, Sweden and Belgium. These students, as well as my high school French teacher, really sparked my interest in learning about languages and culture.
After high school, I attended Francis Marion University where I received degrees in French and Art. While in school I worked as a portrait photographer and managed the daily operations and training in a studio that had 6-10 employees.
I love to travel the world. I have been to Italy, France, England, Spain, and many states within the USA. My favorite states to visit in the US are Vermont and Colorado. I plan to visit many more states and countries in the future!
Anytime I am at a new location or see something interesting, I take a photograph. I especially love capturing images of scenery and animals! On the weekends you can find me creating jewelry, cheering on a local collegiate bass fishing team, painting, volunteering for a local cat rescue, spending time with family, hiking, and enjoying the mountain views, trails and waterfalls that the upstate has to offer. I am also a fan of riding roller coasters.
I recently obtained a Masters in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
