I am so excited to begin my 24th year as an educator! I began my teaching career as an English as a Second Language coordinator and teacher in Anderson County. I then made the move to Greenville County and taught third and fourth grade for eleven years at Heritage Elementary School in Travelers Rest. I joined Stone Academy in 2015 as the Instructional Coach, and I truly believe I have the best job in the world!Â

I graduated from Furman University in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education and received my master's degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities from Furman in 2002. I earned my National Board certification in 2006. I love working with teachers to find innovative ways to reach every learner. I believe in the power of arts integration and love sharing that passion with teachers, students, and parents at Stone.

I live in the Furman area with my husband and two beautiful daughters, along with our sweet pug, Arlo. When I'm not at school I can be found hanging out with my girls, selling my husband's pottery at local shows and markets, and traveling.
