About Mrs. Bolt

My name is Christina Bolt, and I am your child's fourth grade teacher. I am so glad that your child is in my class! This is my 11th year teaching and my 6th year teaching fourth grade. I started my teaching career in 2007 right here at Oakview where I taught fifth grade. In 2012, my family moved to Greensboro, North Carolina where I taught fourth grade for two years. In 2014, we moved to Charleston, South Carolina but were only there for a little over a year before we moved (AGAIN) back to Greenville in June 2015!

In 2003, I graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Psychology. After graduation, I worked at the SC Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities as a Students Services Program Coordinator. In 2006, I graduated from Converse College with a MAT in Elementary Education. I got married in 2007 and live with my husband, Chad, our old black lab, Addie, and our two sons, Parker (9 years old) and Jackson (4 years old). More than likely, your child will come home with crazy stories about one or both of my boys at least once per week!

Children are very special to me, and it is a true privilege to be able to work with them everyday. Although I have high expectations for each of my students, I know that we will have fun every step of the way. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
