Fitnessgram

Fitnessgram is a state wide assessment that focuses on working towards a health-enhancing level of physical fitness by improving and achieving scores that are based on age- and gender- specific health related fitness zones. These zones are criterion-referenced standards that are established by The Cooper Institute of Dallas, Texas. The zones represent levels of fitness that offer protection against the diseases that result from sedentary living.

Students in grades 3-5 are tested twice per year.

2nd grade students only participate in height and weight.
