Welcome to my website

I am originally from Central, SC located right beside of Clemson.  I attended Pickens High School before moving on to Clemson University.  I graduated from Clemson University in 1994 with a BA in Secondary Education - History.  In 2003, I received my Masters in Science Teaching from Clemson University. I completed my doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021.

My parents, Don and Barbara Woody, were also teachers so teaching is in my blood.  My wife, Cindy, teaches at Riverside Middle School.  We have 2 daughters, Colby and Calli.  

This is my 29th year of teaching and 19th year here at Riverside High School.  My first two years were at Gettys Middle School in Easley and the next eight years I taught at Mauldin High School.
