Love and Logic

7th grade is when children make the step from tween to teen.  This can leave parents with a student who behaves very differently that the 6th grader from the previous year.  Luckily, a resource exists that gives research driven skills and advice for parents and families that actually work.  The Love and Logic Institute has provided resources for nearly 50 years and is especially helpful with young people who present as super "strong-willed."  The link below is for free resources from Love and Logic and includes information for special needs parents and resources in Spanish.  I have been a Love and Logic facilitator for over 30 years, and one of the things I appreciate most about Love and Logic is how inexpensive prices are for their products; their goal is to be as accessible as possible for parents and schools.  I encourage you to explore their site for assistance with behaviors and behavioral changes with your student.
