I graduated from USC Upstate in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. This is my 8th year teaching and my third year at Tanglewood. I am so excited to be returning this year! I've previously taught K4-9th grade and was awarded the Educational Support Teacher of the Year for Woodmont's Freshman Academy in 2018.

I have two dogs at home, Marlie and Hudson. They are 3 and 4 years old. Harry Potter gives me life. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends, read and write, and I also enjoy baking. I like football and soccer when I remember to watch them. And I love warm mugs of tea, Bojangles, Target, and Reese's Cups.
