The mission of the GCS Library Media Program is to foster a learning community that creates lifelong learners who can:
read critically
express ideas
investigate through inquiry
use sources
design solutions
learn independently
cultivate meaningful relationships
engage as a citizen
and pursue and develop personal interests
The Media Center is currently open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please see signage on the doors for any changes to the hours and schedule.
Students may print from their Chromebooks anywhere in the building and pick up their prints in the Media Center.
Students may print up to 10 pages for free per month. For the black and white printer choose printer name: Media01 and to print in color choose printer name: Media02. Please be sure to ask Media Center staff to release your print. If you need to print more that your 10 free pages in a month, additional pages will be $0.10/page for black and white and $0.25/page for color. We accept cash payment only for printing (nothing larger than a $5 bill). We cannot debit money from your lunch account.

Students with a pass may check out books in the library during class. However, the students must have a pass from their teacher. Students may also check out books during all lunch shifts. Students will only be allowed to check out four books at a time.
You can check out audio and digital books through Greenville County School's Overdrive & Sora programs. Go to the student resources tab on this website to find the link. Follow the prompts to log in with Active Directory. Enter your school username and password and you're in! You can download books to your phone or Chromebook.
