About the Teacher

I am excited to be a TIGER and to work with each and everyone of you this year! I have taught science for the past 25 years in North and South Carolina. I am excited to be teaching chemistry and astronomy this year.

I earned my chemistry BS from Western Carolina in 1994 and worked as a chemist before stepping into the classroom. I earned my masters in science from Western Governors University and I am currently working on a doctoral degree.

I enjoy spending time with my sons, our dogs and exploring the great outdoors on our equine partners.
