I have had 22 years active duty in the Illinois Army National Guard and the active Army. holding many and varied positions from Platon Leader, Executive Officer, Company Commander, and varied staff positions.

I have been teaching JROTC for the past 22 years and have enjoyed the entire time.  Teaching young people to be better citizens has become a passion of mine.  Learn and teach the love of your craft.  The youth of today deserve this and need this.

I am married to my wife Lynette who has been by my side for 41 years and we have 3 children and nine grand children.
