My name is Mrs. Beverly Neal and welcome to my kindergarten class. I am an undergraduate and graduate of Columbia College. I have been teaching for 40 years and this is my 41st year. My philosophy of education is that all students can learn. I believe that good communication between parents and teachers are vital to a student’s success. I love watching the growth of my students throughout a school year. I look forward to another success year of teaching kindergarten.

I am married to Duane Neal and we live in Greenville, S.C. We have one son and his name is Caleb. He is a recent graduate from East Tennessee State University with a major in Media Communication. I love traveling with my family especially going to visit Tennessee. My family loves cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and we have attended a few games. I look forward to an exciting year.

Meet Mrs. Buie
Meet Mrs. Buie
My name is Carolyn Buie, and I am Mrs. Neal’s kindergarten aide. Mrs. Neal and I have worked together for over 10 years! I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science. Before coming to Bryson, I worked as a children’s librarian, taught preschool, and taught 4th grade. I love learning and want to share that joy with children.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and my husband. Our family’s favorite activities include boating, swimming, going to the beach, and traveling. During my free time,I love to read,hike, eat chocolate, and exercise.
Mrs. Buie’s Favorite Things:
Snacks: Hershey’s and Dove dark chocolates, fruit bowls (watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and honey dew), 100 calorie popcorn (regular or kettle corn), Cheddar Sun Chips, Butterfingers, Junior Mints, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, almonds, and cashews.
Drinks: herbal tea and Diet Dr. Pepper, Chery Coke zero.
