Meet Mrs. Mills

Hey!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I look forward to getting to know you and your child. 

A little bit about me... I grew up in this area. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate. I have been teaching kindergarten at Skyland for 9 years. My husband & I just celebrated 20 years of marriage over the summer. We have 3 awesome daughters- 2 on earth and 1 in heaven. Our oldest, Miley, will be a junior at Blue Ridge High School. This will be her 5th year as a varsity cheerleader. Our youngest, Rimi, will be a 5th grader here at Skyland. This will be her 3rd year playing softball for the Blue Ridge Little League. Our middle daughter, Marylise, would have been starting high school this year at Blue Ridge High. She won her battle of cancer on January 26, 2025 when she was in 7th grade at Blue Ridge Middle. Losing her has been extremely difficult for our family. We are very thankful for our Blue Ridge community who has rallied around us during this difficult time. My husband and I are  huge supporters of our Blue Ridge family. This will be his 21st year teaching at Blue Ridge High School. GO TIGERS!!
