Behavior Guidelines

Classroom Policies, Procedures and Rules are established in order to maintain the best use of instructional time. The less time spent on correcting inappropriate behavior guarantees the most time spent teaching your children. Please read and discuss the following information with your child:

1. Manners and respect must be practiced with ALL members of the classroom and school (teachers and students).

2. Follow directions the first time they are given.

3. Come to school with all necessary and required materials and supplies, including a charged Chromebook.

4. Practice self-control.

5. Practice common sense.

6. Keep the classroom clean.

7. Keep your desk and binder organized (no loose papers should be in your desk).

8. Come to school with a smile. :)

If a student is having difficulty with any of the above expectations, the following (but not limited to) may occur:

A. Verbal Warning

B. Silent Lunch

C. Reflection Sheet

D. Phone Call to Parent

E. Disciplinary Referral

I am very excited about this year and know we will have a very productive classroom. Enforcing these expected behaviors both at school and home will ensure that we have a successful 4th grade year. Thank you very much for your support.
