A bit about me…
Greetings! I love Paris, and I especially love teaching first grade! I have also taught kindergarten and second grade, so I understand the foundational skills necessary and vertical progression for academic success. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from USC, an M.Ed. in Education K-12 from Southern Wesleyan University, and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from North Greenville University. I am also Nationally Board Certified in Literacy. My past work experience includes working with children in poverty, educational grant writing, public relations, and community activism for children's education and health welfare. Each child presents a unique opportunity to foster curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of learning, preparing them for success in an ever-changing world.
My husband's name is Bob, and we have three adult children and a joyous grandson. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, museums, reading, container gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
