Welcome to Mrs. Motes Class!

I am so excited to have your child in my classroom this year! This will be my sixth year teaching. I have taught three years in Greenville County and three years in North Carolina. My husband and I moved to South Carolina two years ago. We love the area!

 We have three active and sweet puppies. We rescued our two newest puppies. My husband and I love taking our dogs hiking, working out, and being outdoors.

Hello, my name is Courtney Schweigert. I was born in South Carolina and I've lived in Greenville my whole life. 

This is my 11th year teaching and my first year at Bethel. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. For the past three years, I was in the Greenville County Virtual Program. I am incredibly excited to be in the classroom this year. 

My husband, Jerre and I have three beautiful children, our third joining us in April. The two oldest are students at Bethel and I am so excited to come to school with my "big kids". 

A few things about me: 

-I LOVE to do crafts: painting and pottery, just to name a few

-My family cheers for the Clemson Tigers in the Fall. I lost one of my kiddos to the Gamecocks after their big win last year. 

-I love putting my toes in the sand at the beach. 

-I enjoy baking and finding the best sunsets.

Hi! My name is Sarah Slack. I am so excited for my second year at Bethel Elementary and my 14th year of teaching.  I previously taught in Pennsylvania, Texas, and South Carolina (at another Greenville County elementary school) before staying home with my kids.  My husband and I have been married 10 years, and we have 3 children: Tyler (9), Caleb (8), and Hailey (4).  

I love to read, especially historical fiction.  On weekends, you can usually find me cheering on my kids at the soccer field.  In our house, we cheer for the Clemson Tigers, and I'm also a Jacksonville Jaguars fan.  I don't like coffee, but I love chocolate!

Hi! My name is Anna Zelasko. This is my sixth year teaching 5th grade at Bethel. I went to Clemson University and graduated with a degree in Materials Science & Engineering. After realizing engineering was not my calling, I received my Masters in Teaching and have loved teaching ever since!

My husband, Aleks, and I have two doggos. Tillman was a stray who found his home with us, and Gus was adopted from a rescue last November! They are two of the snuggliest dogs you'll meet! We love going camping, going to local coffee shops, and taking Tillman and Gus on adventures!

Some of my favorite things - Clemson, local coffee, Coke Zero, Tropical Grille, and reading (especially WWII historical fiction!).
