My name is Dr. Brittany Boyd and I will be your child's fourth grade teacher this year.  This is my seventh year at Bell's Crossing and I am so excited to being a part of the family. I have been a classroom teacher for eighteen years in Greenville County. I can not believe this will be year nineteen! ! have one son, James, who is 11 years old and is in sixth grade at Northwood Middle School this year. This is my first year here without him and I know I will miss having him near me. He always keeps us laughing and has worked hard to achieve his second degree blackbelt in karate. We have one cat, Sam. We also have two dogs. One is a 134 year old Australian Shepherd mix named Chili and we have a miniature longhaired dachshund named Remy. They are all spoiled rotten.

I graduated from Greer High School in 2003. I graduated from North Greenville University in 2007 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  I obtained my Master’s Degree from Furman University in 2009 in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree from Lesley University in 2013 in Mathematics Education.  I just finished my doctorate degree this past summer in Educatoinal Leadership. I am excited to continue to learn from Mr. Ross how to be an incredible leader one day.

I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year in fourth grade.  We are the heroes. My goal this year is to teach each and every child that they can be a hero.
