My name is Tara Bayan, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be your child's teacher this year at Berea Elementary:) 

This will be my second year at Berea, and my 5th in Greenville County. Prior to this, I taught 3rd grade for 3 years at Lake Forest Elementary. This is my 8th year teaching, and my 6th year teaching 3rd grade, having previously taught in Chicago and Ohio. In the past I have also taught 1st grade English overseas in the West Bank, Palestine as well as adult ESOL. 

I am always wanting to grow and learn as a teacher, and appreciate feedback and open communication with my students' families. Please feel comfortable to contact me whenever you need during this school year. 

I love all animals. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my super dog Shirley, my funny cat Barry,  and reading.

Hola, me llamo Tara Bayan y estoy encantada de tener la oportunidad de ser la maestra de su hijo/a este año en la Escuela Primaria Berea.

Este será mi segundo año en Berea y mi quinto en el condado de Greenville. En el pasado, enseñé clases de 3 grado durante 3 años en la Escuela Primaria Lake Forest. Este es mi octavo año enseñando y sexto año enseñando 3 grado También he enseñado en Chicago y Ohio. En el pasado, enseñé clases de inglés de 1 grado en el extranjero, en Cisjordania, Palestina, así como ESOL para adultos.
